About Us
“Darb Rezq” is a non-profit development initiative born in 2025 in response to the urgent need to restart the livelihood wheel for Syrian families affected by crises. We work to revive small and micro-projects through direct funding and precise professional accompaniment, giving their owners a chance to stand again with dignity and independence.
Our Story
The initiative began with a team of young Syrians residing both inside and outside Syria, united by a shared belief that sustainable development is the most effective path to empowering individuals and society. We witnessed firsthand how many families lost their sources of income, so we launched “Darb Rezq” to unite volunteer efforts and connect supporters with ideas worthy of support.
What Do We Do Practically?
- Identifying Promising Projects: We work with a network of volunteers on the ground to identify craftspeople and professionals whose income sources have stopped or who seek to launch a small project.
- Assessment and Matching: We examine the feasibility of each project and match it with transparency and sustainability criteria to ensure the best possible impact of support.
- Securing Funding and Follow-up: We connect project owners with supporters, then accompany implementation step by step with periodic public and private reports.
