Note on applying in the current phase

We appreciate your interest in sharing your project idea with us. Because of a large accumulated backlog of previous submissions and limited team capacity, we have temporarily paused review of small and individual project applications, and there is no set date yet for actively resuming acceptance.

In this phase, we are directing our limited team capacity toward initiatives with clear community impact that are driven primarily by addressing a social problem, before securing a source of profit.

You may still submit your idea if you wish, and we will keep it on file for later reference when needed. Submitting an application does not mean a promise of review, contact, or support, and our criteria and priorities may differ when we resume work on this type of project.

For the latest updates, please follow our official pages, where we will clearly announce when the formal submission window opens again.

Criteria for this track

What are we looking for?
  • You have a small or micro project, not a large or complex venture
  • Your project is mainly about securing a livelihood, not a community initiative whose primary impact extends beyond you or your family
  • You have a specific project idea, not a general request like “any project that fits”
  • You know what the project needs to launch and have done enough research on it
  • You have clear, reasonable costs based on realistic research and proportionate to direct beneficiaries
  • You have relevant experience, practical ability, or initial resources to help execute it
  • You have a personal contribution or available resources, not full reliance on external funding
  • You have a realistic plan for continuity and reducing the risk of failure
  • What your project mainly needs is material support or equipment, not shaping the idea from scratch

How this track works

At Darb Rezq, we work with a model that aims to recover capital and recycle it later to support other projects, so we care about plan clarity, execution seriousness, and reducing risk as much as possible.

How we work Our principles

Are you leading the project yourself or is someone else leading it? What qualifications or experience do you have? Do you have a team or are you working alone? How will you keep the project on track, reduce failure risk, and avoid losing the capital?

By submitting this application, you acknowledge the following. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, funding, or a response from the team.

  1. I agree that the Darb Rezq team may view, store, and process the data I entered using secure methods, for the purpose of evaluation and communication only.
  2. I understand that Darb Rezq is not a for-profit entity and does not fund projects from its own financial resources. Our role is to evaluate applications and to highlight and promote promising projects so they receive support from other entities or individuals — through donations, crowdfunding, or direct support.
  3. I know that my project idea will be evaluated according to Darb Rezq’s criteria related to sustainability, community value, transparency, and ethical work.
  4. I understand that any funding I may receive is temporary developmental support, not a permanent grant, and must be returned after a defined period to be recycled into supporting other projects where applicable.
  5. I understand that submitting this form does not necessarily mean my project is accepted; it only starts the initial evaluation process.
  6. I understand that submitting my application, or even acceptance of the project, does not create any obligation on Darb Rezq to fund my project, as the team reserves the right to set priorities and allocate resources according to impact, sustainability, and the legal and logistical considerations of each campaign.
  7. Incomplete applications, or those unsuitable for the track (such as a livelihood project submitted on the Athar track, or vice versa), may not be reviewed at all. We reserve the right not to respond, or to delay, according to the team’s priorities and ongoing campaigns.
