Perfume, Accessories and Textiles Shop – Reopening
Perfume, Accessories and Textiles Shop – Reopening
The project is a small shop selling a variety of everyday products: perfumes and perfume blending, accessories, textiles and underwear, cosmetics and personal care, sewing supplies, and basic household items. The shop is located in the New Garage in Jableh, a busy commercial spot with steady traffic from employees, students, workers, and villagers passing through daily. The aim is to provide a wide range of personal and family needs in one place, making it easier for customers without having to go to the city. The premises and fittings are in place and ready to operate with no additional setup needed. The owner is a person with a disability and his mother has health challenges; she shares the work in the shop, and reopening would be their main source of income.

Expected Impact
Expected Outcomes
- Facilitate access to essential products for employees, students, workers, and neighbouring villagers
- Save time and effort for rural residents who pass through the garage daily
- Revitalise commercial activity in the area
- Provide a stable source of income for the owner and his family
Sustainability
The project has good sustainability prospects: it previously existed and ran successfully for years, and the commercial location is suitable with steady footfall. Based on the owner's experience, capital can be recycled. After reopening, the activity can be expanded through added services such as custom perfume blending, printing on T-shirts and cups, accessory repairs, and simple tailoring.

Owner Story
The owner first launched his shop in 2020 with modest capital and over the following years built a good reputation in the area, a steady customer base, and a wide product range, and ran the business in an organised way. The project was the main source of income for him and his mother. Following security events, the shop was robbed and vandalized and lost most of its stock, leading to a halt in trading. The owner is a person with a disability and his mother has health challenges; she shares the work in the shop. Today he is seeking to reopen his shop, drawing on his experience and the customer base he built over the years. Reopening represents the best opportunity for him and his family to regain a stable source of income.
